David is a Pit Bull mix who was turned away from multiple daycare and boarding facilities due to breed discrimination. His owner, on the edge of giving up, had been referred to Hounds Town by a friend. Upon meeting David, we found a kind, shy dog who just needed to be given a chance. After passing his evaluation with ease, David was assigned a play group and gradually warmed up. After the first 3 visits, we saw David come out of his shell and come into his pack. All David needed was a little extra support.
